Testimonials for Four Paws Reiki
Jack is our 9 year old mixed breed rescue. He came from an abuse situation in Georgia and clearly is a PTSD dog. He has many fears including sticks and brooms, fire, and loud noises (guns, fireworks and thunder and lightning). He’s also been very sad at times. We do agility with him which he loves. He is an excellent therapy dog who works with children and residents of a local nursing home. We asked Amy to help Jack with his fear and sadness. Since she started treatment he has become more demonstrative and has less fear. Specifically, last night there were thunderstorms. Usually that means a trembling panicky dog on our bed for the duration, trying to hide in the ‘headboard’. Last night he was scared but not shaking all over. He got on and off the bed and then went back to sleep as soon as the storm passed. He also is much less bothered by other sudden loud noises. Much progress! The other big change we see is in his agility work. He loves agility except for the teeter totter which he has always been reluctant to go over. Now he is going over most of the time and getting better with it each class. It’s wonderful to see him doing this last hard part of agility.

I highly recommend Four Paws Reiki. Amy is professional and prompt. Zorro, our dog, was receiving Reiki from Amy from April 2015 until March of 2016. When he passed, he had inoperable lung, throat, and leg masses. He was slowing down and finding it harder to breathe. Amy made Zorro much more comfortable physically and spiritually. He always had more energy and life after Reiki sessions and this would last a few days. Amy spent a lot of time on sessions through distance Reiki and a thorough email of her findings. I believe Zorro was alive longer and happier with Reiki by Amy. When the time came, Reiki also helped with his passing - he was calm and ready. Zorro was loved deeply. I am glad we could help him be more comfortable.

Rosey (aka Zena) was a dog on the Neighbor's Corner section of Peppertree Dog Rescue's website. From her pictures she looked like she had had a hard life. She had come to the Delaware Valley Humane Society via animal control, skin and bones with a lot of fur missing due to a flea infestation. The wonderful people at DVHS nursed her back to health but she sat at the shelter for nine months. I looked at her picture many a night and she called to me. I was lucky enough to convince Peppertree to take a chance on her and long story short - I fostered her and then adopted her one year ago. She has been a wonderful girl who has since earned her certificates for both Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog. She has always been a worrier though. She would often urinate when a new person pet her or came into the house. Her teeth were worn down to nubs from trying to bite out of her kennel. I knew she had had a lot of emotional baggage from her past life. Amy treated Rose with two sessions of hands on Reiki in February, 2016. Since her Reiki treatments she has stopped urinating with new people. She also has become more comfortable letting me know her mind. She will let me know if she doesn't want to walk or when she isn't ready to be done with the walk. She is more comfortable being on the couch when I am home (she used to sulk away if I saw her on the couch as if she was going to be yelled at) and her comfort around other dogs continues to improve. She is letting go of a lot of the things that held her back and is blooming into the wonderful dog that she was always meant to be.

When we were going to be on a trip for three weeks we were very uncomfortable leaving our cat home with a visit from our friend for feeding and medication. June found Amy Adams and our problem was solved. Amy visited our precious cat several times during our absence and gave a very nice human contact that Kitty found comforting. We will continue to use Amy as we tend to travel. Dennis S.

Frida is a 14-year old dog with a compromised kidney, diminished tear production, difficulty walking and nighttime anxiety, and has to date enjoyed five Reiki sessions, one a week, with Amy. Amy cares deeply about Frida and Frida enjoys the sessions very much. It is clear something special is happening. My favorite tell is Frida’s tail helicoptering (something that she has never done outside of these sessions). While Frida hasn’t magically transformed into a two-year old pup, I am very happy with the results of the completed sessions and intend to continue the session on a monthly basis for the foreseeable future. As long as you continue with appropriate veterinary care, you should consider adding Reiki sessions with Amy to your dogs wellness program. Frida gives Amy two paws up!

I am so excited to tell you how well my German shepherd, Grizzly, did with his Reiki treatment. First I want you to know how much I appreciate all the work you did!!!! I could tell by your report that you put a tremendous amount of time and love into your work. It sure showed in Grizzly! He was limping for the good part of a month before the treatment and we were unable to go running through the woods like we love to do. After the treatment, he seemed better I took him running that night. When we got home he could barely walk the next morning, but by noon that day he was like a puppy again playing and jumping. He has continued without the limp since! I am sooooo excited!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Amy!

Amy is one of the most generous, kind and loving people we have ever met. My golden retriever Bear benefits greatly from four paws reiki. With Amy. I remember the first session I asked her to come to our home to meet Bear. Usually when Bear meets someone he is friendly but reserved and takes his time to sniff them and see how he feels about their energy. When he saw Amy for the very first time he bolted towards her with such exuberance jumped up on her wagging his tail and basically saying to her "I'm so glad your here" he knew she was going to help him. I knew right away she was very special. The Reiki Amy does with Bear has always been deeply profound and much needed. I myself am a very sensitive person and I am also extremely connected to Bear. I always notice a difference in him after a session. I can also tell when he is in session with Amy because he has a sense of deep peace to him he usually sleeps during, but if he gets up its almost as if he is being guided and he's so peaceful and cute. After session He always seems lighter in every way more bouncy and seems to act as if a large weight has been lifted off of him. Bear has Lymphoma and four paws Reiki has helped him maintain his actual health even while living with cancer and being on chemotherapy. No one can tell Bear has anything wrong with him. All I get are compliments on how amazing he looks when we are out. Bear glows. Amy's Reiki with him helps him be able to maintain his healthy love for life, his appetite, playful attitude and strength in so many ways physical and mental for sure. I think it helps with inflammation and helping him feel comfortable and actually feel great. Bear is super happy and filled with energy. The Reiki helps him stay clear and open to healing. I think it helps him with the chemo and being able receive it as help and it allows his body to repair and heal afterward. Reiki keeps him be protected too from any outside or internal imbalance. It brings him to his highest self and highest good. Reiki has really helped him come into his own strength for healing and being in general. I feel it's easier to communicate with him too. I noticed his aura started to actually seem to glow after about the third session with Amy. He has such a glow to him now and is able to maintain it much longer we have been with Amy for about six months. I try to do Weekly sessions if I can. If I can't i can always tell when I need to contact Amy because Things seems to start to build up and Bear seems like he's carrying around a lot of weight energetically. Pets absorb a lot of our human emotions, feelings, and energy being good or bad they are so open to their humans and try to help us feel better or good all of the time and I think it's really necessary for them to have a way to release it. Reiki clears anything they may be absorbing or holding onto that could potentially cause them harm. It is amazing and I think a very necessary tool to help them and give them the chance and actual opportunity to release anything they are holding onto that is not serving them physically or mentally or toxins physically mentally and energetically.Reiki gives them the outlet to get rid of anything they need to get rid of they just need some extra support from Reiki and help To do so. It is So important for our beloved pets who are family. I know I cherish Bear more than anything. He has taught me so much and given me so much. I am so grateful to be able to give back to him with Four Paws Reiki and to have Amy in our lives to help Bear and myself. She supports him in ways he needs so desperately. Thank you Amy

Jingles just had a Reiki session with Amy! Boy, is she relaxed. Amy is such a talented, professional, and knowledgeable Reiki practitioner. She treats the emotional, behavioral, and medical problems that cause our animals distress (thus, causing their humans distress). For the well being of our animal, give Amy a try if you haven't already. She's amazing. And if you have had her do Reiki on your animal, you know exactly what I'm talking about :) Thank you so much Amy. Big Woof from Jingles too (she's napping now) :)

Once again, thank you for your fantastic work with Lucy. She is so happy, calm and peaceful for days after she has had a session with you. Even today out on our walk, she met other dogs with a peaceful, loving energy…still played with the puppy a bit and respectfully greeted the older “lady of the lawn”, Stella. I so appreciate you and your willingness to share your loving, knowledgeable and energetic gift with Lucy. She’s drinking water more often since you gave me the tip to change her water more frequently. I know she looks forward to her monthly sessions. Thanks, again, for the insight, care and healing you so lovingly and effectively give.

I adopted Mr B, a 10 year old male miniature poodle, in November 2012. He was a rescue from Brooklyn, NY. Hence the name Mr B. His owner surrendered him. They said it was a landlord issue. I can not be sure of his actual age,if there really was a landlord issue, or they just didn’t want an older dog who has a gimpy hind leg. Luckily he was seen online by a woman who scans shelters and adopts dogs she feels should have a life and not be put down. Mr B was one of the lucky ones. He got out and came to Columbia County, NY. From the very beginning, Mr B was the sweetest dog you can imagine. He walks on a leash beautifully, but had three anxiety issues. 1- He was aggressive when he saw other dogs, barked and pulled towards them. When I let him meet other dogs, he would snap at them. Finally he made a couple of friends but when I saw another dog coming, it was best to cross the street. 2- He was nervous when we went in the car to the groomer. Sitting in the back seat, he would shake. On the way home, however, he was fine. Obviously, he had an problem with being abandoned again. 3- When I go away for a weekend, he goes to a really nice kennel, but barked until exhaustion after I leave. Then he finally settles in. Since Amy has been working with him, all three of his major anxieties have either totally gone or lessened substantially. He doesn’t shake in the car anymore, he’s relaxed at the kennel, and he’s much better when he sees other dogs when we walk. I don’t feel like I have to cross the street to avoid them. But, these were not the reasons I first contacted Amy. My initial reason was because he started getting me up at 3am to go out and pee, every night. His Vet said it’s because he’s old. I felt there was more to this and Amy has worked her magic with Mr B and his sleep patterns. Yes he is old, and yes sometimes he needs to go out at some hour in the middle of the night, but for the most part, he sleeps to a reasonable hour and we both benefit from this. All of his other issues are being dealt with as the Reiki sessions progress. He’s now more confident, relaxed and less anxious. He realizes I am going to take care of him and he doesn’t have to fear being abandoned again. Thank You Amy for the work you have done with Mr B. He appreciates it, he loves you and looks forward to every session.

I have been working with a dog who has always barked to exhaustion when left in the kennel while his owner is away. Also, he usually does not eat well during that time. Recently, his owner was away and wrote to check in on how he is doing. Here was the response from the kennel owner:
"He's remarkable. I didn't write you because i left you with, 'no news is good news'. Also, i didn't want to break the luck. He has been ever so much more mellow, relaxed and most times is a sterling member of the clean plate club. I can't quite believe the change. To rephrase that film's line, 'I'll have what he's having!'. In person or via the air waves, the Reiki is working like nothing else has."

Interesting how someone you have never met can make a profound difference in how your pet feels. Bocker the Labradoodle was diagnosed with Lymphoma and had started chemotherapy treatments. Of course there are numerous side effects and issues with the different chemotherapy drugs. Amy worked remotely on Bocker and each time sent us a lengthy report of how he was doing and that he welcomed and loved the Reiki sessions. He always remained calm and was at ease and seemed like he was absorbing all of Amy's love, energy and healing ways. Bocker is doing well having gotten through radiation and continuing with his chemotherapy. If there was a particular issue, whether it was with his stomach or his joints, Amy spent time in each place to help bring Bocker to the level and strength that he needed to succeed in his treatments. Since he did lose most of his hair, Amy even worked on bringing light and energy to that part of his body to help his hair grow back healthy. We do hope to someday meet Amy and if you have the opportunity to, don't miss it. Amy is certainly blessed and wonderful of her to use her blessing to help those in need.

Monday morning after Memorial Day weekend I heard this loud growl, yowl, hissing and when I went to check on Nubi he was trying to climb the sofa and was walking without direction and that went about a few minutes but for me it felt like an hour of helplessness as I sat on the floor watching him. At one point I picked him up and cradle him to see if he would stop yowling but all he did was look at me yowling so I put him down until he stopped and acted like nothing happened. Later that day when I saw Amy I mentioned it to her and a day or so later she sent me an detailed e-mail from her remote Reiki session stating that it felt primarily physical and that there was a pinched nerve or irritation at the nerve plexus due to some sort of injury. She goes on explaining how she transmitted any pain, discomfort, injury, irritation, edema, muscle weakness, building disk, stuck vertebrae, etc... She also did healing on his lumbar spine, nerves, muscles, hip, knee, heart, and kidneys. As I continue to read the e-mail I thought Amy just doesn't focus in the body but goes deeper and works with him to make him feel safe. For example: She worked on his brain to help him realize how to move and protect the area while healing. She also helped Nubi realize his physical limitations when playing. After reading her e-mail I noticed Nubi being relaxed and mellow (which he is not... LOL) and felt he was going to get better. But it was short lived cause later that week it happened again but this time I notice he was limping and out of no where he was back to normal like it never happened. So this time I called her and tried to explain to her, but as she was asking me questions I realized I was beyond worried to know the answers. So the day before I was to take him to the vet, Amy came over (as a friend) and I was again explaining to her what I saw when Nubi appeared and did it for her so now she had a visual . I took him to the vet but because he was so tense the doc couldn't find anything wrong except if it happened again to take him back for more thorough examination. As I went to check on him during my lunch brake the next day of that week I found him yowling, hissing, limping and at one point not moving with his hind leg stretch back so I took him back to the vet that same day and after all the tests came back negative the doc still couldn't figure out what was wrong with him and I was a big mess cause I felt I was going to loose him. Amy on the other hand ran another remotes session and sent me another detail e-mail explaining how Nubi felt very on edge, anxious, and also not feeling heard or supported by me. So Amy worked on transmuting any fear, anxiety, anger, frustration, worry, tension, and feelings of not being supported on any level. As I read this I realized what I thought I was doing right was not even close and I had to change my life for I no longer was just me I now had a living being that looks up to me for everything, play time and communication being one of them. I admit I cried like a baby as it all hit me. Amy also worked on to balance, harmonize, and send healing to all of his neurological systems/pathways, all motor receptors in the muscle, all muscle fibers to allow clear impulse transmission and release any blockages. She also worked on his throat chakra to expand his ability to communicate with me . So a BIG thank you to Amy for opening my eyes through Nubi that I had to change my ways for the better. Love you so much lady!! Please keep doing animal Reiki because I know for me it changed my life so Nubi could feel loved and wanted .
UPDATE: Nubi and I are doing amazingly well! I communicate with him more on everyday things and he with me and play time with him is a blast and the best part....no more episodes!!! Words cannot describe how thankful I am for all the work you put so in the end there can be a positive outcome for both us humans and animals .

I have read and re-read your message a couple of times to take it all in. I sobbed like a baby when reading about the "hang ups" he has, the sadness and hurt he carries and the wounds that haven't healed. I have tried for the past year to shower him with love and kindness but realize now he was too broken to accept it. It sounds like you guys did a ton of work and made some progress. I am overwhelmed by it all. It seems you know him better than anyone and you have never even met him. We have been out at an event all day, we came home to our sleeping Dave, I barked, woke him up and watched his tail move for the first time ever. His tail is normally down and moves as a unit but he seems mores free today. He's also been begging with the rest of them which he usually doesn't do lol. I am so very grateful to you Amy, I hope you will continue to help him!

"Regarding Tejas, when his surgeon called me when he was in recovery she said 'it was easier than I thought it would be' everything she wanted to do she was able to do and all in all it took about 40 mins! I guess I know why now." (I had remotely sent Reiki to Tejas and sent Moe an email about it which she didn't get until after the surgery was done with). When I checked in on him a few days later, Moe stated "this boy who is recovering better than I am!".

“I want to thank you for the email and the kindness you showed Charlie. He really seemed to enjoy the treatment. When I brought him in, I was at my wits end with Charlie not eating or drinking and you helped him do very well this past week since your Reiki session. Unfortunately Charlie had a rough night last night. He is not eating and it's hard for him to get up and move. The vet came around 11 this morning and the results were not very good. He is severely anemic. The vet hypothesized that it was likely due to a bleeding tumor but could possibly be a very severe ulcer. She said if it was a tumor she would expect him to get increasingly worse at a very fast rate. Based on what she saw today and his blood work, she assumed that by tomorrow we would probably be looking at needing to euthanizing him.” (At this point, I was intuitively guided to send a remote session and then a few hours later received the following email response) “Remarkably, he seems to be doing quite well tonight. He ate (I cooked him fresh food, specifically chosen to address the anemia), and went out several times to use the bathroom. He even got up when I came home and greeted me. I don't know if it's a sign that things are not as severe as they looked or if it's just a quick reprieve, but either way he seems happy and much more comfortable than last night, so I'll gladly take it. Thank you again for your kindness and support and for the time you've taken to help Charlie. I really appreciate it.”
Jeannette H.
(Unfortunately, Charlie did end up passing within a few days.)

I met Amy Adams (Four Paws Animal Reiki) at a Tranquil Spirit Wellness Center Pet Expo this past summer. At that time, my dog Jingles, was suffering from what I'd call involuntary or uncontrollable movements of her legs. It seemed to me that her nervous system was over-stimulated. Her legs would move for no apparent reason causing her to startle or feel uncomfortable. When I saw that Amy was doing Animal Reiki I asked her to work with Jingles. Amy worked with her for about 40 minutes or so....Jingles lying down and apparently enjoying every minute of it as she did not move at all. She seemed to be in a state of bliss. After we got home, and during the week following her reiki session, Jingles had only 2 more episodes of the uncontrolled movements of her legs. Then it stopped completely and she has never experienced it again!
I am so grateful to Amy - for her Animal Reiki skills, her empathy, her knowledge and professionalism....and for the healing power of Reiki. Amy possesses a very special gift.
For those of you who are not familiar with Reiki it - in layman's terms - encompasses the mind, the body, and the spirit and Reiki Master Amy, works with the animal on all these levels. If you have not tried it with your pet, please do so.....if you have...you understand and know how powerful and healing it is.
My thanks again to Amy. We (Jingles and I) were blessed to have met her and receive her healing gift.

I met Amy Adams a little over two years ago. I discovered that we have a love for animals in common and that as young girls we always had a menagerie of furry friends.
I have felt the intuitive nature of Amy's healing first hand. She has performed Reiki on me so I have experienced the gentle, loving, and very powerful energy that she works with. So I understand why my animals love her Reiki healings and why they are soooo relaxed after a session with her.
Amy is a loving and compassionate person who is a natural, intuitive healer. My cat and dog immediately recognized her healing energy and were drawn to her gentle, loving approach. My golden retriever can be a handful to manage when he first meets someone new, yet she intuitively knew just what to do and say with him. Not everyone welcome his kisses with such unconditional love and acceptance. My cat, Callie and dog, Woody fortunately have not had major health problems, but they do have emotional issues that come up for them and I found that a Reiki session with Amy leaves them more relaxed and she has heard from them minor medical issues that were resolved from her healing hands.
I think that any animal lucky enough to experience a Reiki session with Amy is very fortunate. My animals have given me such unconditional love and acceptance providing them with Reiki is one way to give a little back to them.
I highly recommend Amy and I trust her with my most valued furry children.

I had such a wonderful experience with Amy giving Reiki to my 2 Pekingese dogs. She gave Reiki in the usual way, but it was what happened afterwards that was so special.
Amy's Reiki Mastery seems to have caused her to become an animal intuitive as well. After the session, one of the dogs, who had been urinating in the house and was a bit obsessive, calmed down. Amy told me that he had been a little angry and was obsessing on a few things, one of which was getting out of the yard. She also recommended that he see a vet for a possible low-grade urinary tract infection. She then sent Reiki long distance to both dogs after the session, which was a wonderful gift. After the long distance Reiki he no longer was urinating on things in the house, and he didn't obsess about the fence for six months.
Thank you Amy. You are a gifted healer and I will be back to see you should the dogs have any more problems!

"First off, thank you for doing Reiki on my little guy it is much appreciated. Everything that you did resonated with me and I'm super grateful about the work you did on his tummy for he no longer has a bald spot. I gotta tell you it was quite amazing watching it grow back in the short time after you worked on him. You are amazing lady!!. Also thank you for letting me know about his kidney don't get me wrong I'm grateful for the rest but when I re- read the email I forget how many times I went back to that paragraph and as a mama I wouldn't have picked up on it so again thank you <3."
Nubi and I are grateful! You are awesome <3

Amy put my dog at ease immediately. She worked on his many physical health issues and his anxiety, and I felt her concern and gentleness come through to my special animal.

***REMEMBER -ANIMAL REIKI CAN SUPPLEMENT VETERINARY CARE IN MANY WAYS BUT ANIMAL REIKI IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR GOOD VETERINARY CARE! WHEN THERE IS A MEDICAL CONCERN, ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR VET. ***
